HODGMAN AND THE WHIRLING DISEASE FOUNDATION FORM PARTNERSHIP

Hodgman in conjunction with the Whirling Disease Foundation are pleased to announce a partnership to help eliminate a parasitic infection that is affecting many of North America’s trout waters known as Whirling Disease.
Hodgman will provide financial assistance for the Whirling Disease Foundation as well as produce a specially designed informational leaflet which will be placed in all breathable wader and wading shoe packaging. The leaflet will explain the importance on how to properly care for your waders to help prevent the disease from spreading and will encourage Hodgman customers to seek additional information on Whirling Disease as well as make personal contributions.
The Whirling Disease Foundation is a non-profit corporation established in May 1995 with a mission to raise funds needed for research to find solutions to the damage caused by Whirling Disease. Whirling Disease has been found in 23 states and is causing declines in some of the best wild trout fisheries in the United States.
