Rated 1 out of 5 by Adler63 from Junk I bought these boots in March and I go fishing a lot, I mean A LOT. After about the 3rd time I wore them I started to feel a little trickle down my left leg. Then it started in the right leg. The boots leak around the seem where the boot meets the fabric...BOTH OF THEM. It is as if I am standing in two buckets of water. Might as well go barefoot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by PAMountainFisher from Good Idea: Poor Execution I wouldn’t recommend this model of waders. I have not tried any of the other models but these are a waste. The first pair I bought lasted only a few outings before the began leaking at a seam. The company offered me a complimentary one time free replacement..... one time really? Well the replacement pair lasted a few outings and they are now leaking. I’m not even taking the time to find the leak. I cannot attest to the other products that Hoffman makes; however I would not recommend these waders.

Rated 2 out of 5 by JPWilliams from Good boots but upper sections too large I bought these boots after thirty years in heavy black rubber hippers. They are light, the material is tough, and the boots fit great (size 13), but the uppers are at least 3X as big around as my thighs, so they flap around when I walk, and if I'm wading in water with any spray, they catch it, drenching my legs. I've added Velcro straps to cinch the tops, but they slide down and so don't help much. The price is great, but because of the super-loose fit around my upper legs, I can't recommend them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by marauder99 from Unbelievable poor quality For my birthday this past October my Father purchased a pair of Mackenzie HBC 11 Hodgman hip waders for me. The very first day that I wore them they leaked from the seam where the rubber boot connects with the nylon upper section on the right leg. The next weekend I gave them a second try. Now both legs leaked. I then went back to the store that they were purchased from and thinking it was just a fluke I swapped them for an identical second pair. I was quite disappointed when the very same issue occurred with the second pair. Now the fall trout season is over and the only three times I was able to go fishing I got soaking wet feet. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I guess there is no way to truly express how frustrating it is to finally get on the stream and within minutes have soaking wet feet and legs, however I am pretty sure that most anglers would agree that its not exactly optimal.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Dwelsh78 from Started Leaking In Two Weeks Good product put together poorly. I take care of my equipment and after just two weeks the right boot began taking on water where the fabric meets the rubber at the seam. Guess I need to continue the search for the perfect waders.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Fishincoach from Upper section a little bulky. I have not used the waders yet. However, from my experience with other waders in this price range I don't think there will be a problem of cracking and leaking with the upper sections above the rubber boot.
