Product Reviews

Mackenzie Cleat Chest Bootfoot is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable and ease of use This is my second pair and both have leaked. Of all the waders I have bought I liked theses the best. Looking at the boot and materials they are made well but I have no luck with boot foot waders probably due to my size and I fish over 100 days a year. I am 6'5" 250+ and I feel there is too much pull on the suspenders that they start to leak around where the boot and the wader are attached (both pair leaked in the same place). Again of all the boot foot waders I have bought these fit the best and I liked the materials used, just don't have any luck with boot foot waders, going back to stocking foot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Done with neoprene. After two pair of neoprene waders punctures. I went for a third and didn't have my size. In a pinch I got these and after 6 months of trout fishing in and on the side of streams I won't get anything else. Ran into branches sticks thorns. Not one leak. Light and flexible not hot like neoprene and tough as nails.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product. I have used them many times since purchasing them. I use them for getting to my moored boat in cold weather and they keep me warm and dry. Being in the textile manufacturing business prior to retiring they are very well constructed. I would suggest placing a zipper/velcro pocket on the inside bib to carry various items other than that I am extremely pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value! I'm in the pond maintenance trade and found these wades online. Tried them out and found them to be the most comfortable and durable waders I've found in nearly 30 years.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaking Waders I bought these waders fall 2015. After only two months of use, the waders started leaking around the boot. This was my third pair of Mackenzie waders I had bought over the last 6 years. The other two lasted a few years before leaking. I like the height of the waders and the boot size. I am 6' 3" and wear size 13 waders. they come up almost all the way to my arm pits. Not sure they would be good for a shorter person.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far, so good! I received my waders about a month ago. I wanted something not too expensive that I could go out into the river in front of my home and remove dead trees and limbs that fall into the water so my fishing lures would have a better chance of staying connected to my line. These work great. I bought the chest high boot waders and I can walk through the stones and rocks without hurting my feet. I've been in water up to within 6 inches of their top in March weather here in Michigan and they have been comfortable and performed very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Basic Waders I don't use my waders often. Most of the time it's to put in and take out the pier. I was looking for a good set of basic waders. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and value of these. They worked great and are nice and lightweight. I am very happy with these.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BEWARE Extremely Disappointed I purchased a pair 4 moths ago, used them only when putting the boat on the trailer and they started leaking after less than a dozen times of use. The fabric started delaminating and the interior plastic layer cracks and flakes away. In desperation I tried to repair them with “Flex Seal” but that was futile. A one time use product for $$. If you can tolerate wet socks and frozen toes this is the product to consider.
