HyperDRY™ is the pinnacle of water resistant down technology and consistently tests significantly better than other water resistant downs on the market today over the complete range of fill powers. HyperDRY™ will stay dry longer and become dry far faster. All while maintaining a higher loft and fill power to retain warmth, even in the most extreme situations.

V-TecH™ utilizes ultra-breathable vapor transfer technology with a hydrophilic membrane to pull moisture away from the body. The V-TecH system ensures breathability, abrasion resistance and waterproof protection. Also a DWR (Durable Water Repellant) external coating provides long lasting performance.

High Water hand warmer pockets are included on the inner systems jacket. These pockets are located high on the chest so when you are wearing your inner jacket inside your waders the pockets are easily accessible.

For years goose down jackets have been sought after by mountaineering experts due to their lightweight insulating properties and avoided by anglers due to the lack of warmth in moist environments. We merged the best of both worlds by using Allied® HyperDRY™ pure goose down which utilizes a nanotechnology that reduces surface tension, causing moisture to bead and roll off, working to maintain loft.
By partnering with an industry leader in best practices, the down used in this jacket is 100% traceable, PFOA tested and is Bluesign certified.
Strategically placed V-TecH shell fabric is utilized on the shoulders and arms preventing moisture penetration from light rain or snow. High water hand warmer pockets allow you to keep your hands toasty even when the jacket is worn inside waders. Two zippered lower pockets, a chest pocket, and inner security pocket offer a range of storage options.

Water resistant down, never knew it could be done!
Got this jacket because of the down I need in Kodiak, Alaska fishing silvers. Didn't get cold this time due to the down and even while raining and dipping hands in the water. This down drys quickly and the hand warmer pockets complement its efficency in keeping you warm. The jacket is also very light and gives great arm freedom.

This jacket is a "winner"
I requested this jacket as a birthday present a month ago. I am always apprehensive about dealer claims. This jacket has exceeded my highest expectations. It is super warm. It has no bulk. Very nonrestrictive. It disallows any cold creep. Totally blocks wind. Seals tight round waist,wrists and neck. I have been wearing a T shirt under it while checking for cold creep in temperatures in the 20's. If placed under my wading jacket I cannot imagine to wearing anything more that my Merino wool top even on the coldest days, anything colder the water would be ice. Now if they would just make me a pair of wading pants like this, icy steelhead fishing would downright balmy. Obviously, I cannot attest to durability or water resistant qualities. But I can attest to the above, as well as to the fit and finish of jacket. Both were great, I purchased the XL size, and it fits me perfectly at 5'9" and 215lbs. One feature not mentioned here is the fact that the bottom drawstrings can be tightened from reaching into the lower pockets. It is obvious that a lot of thought was placed into this jacket making it task specific for fly fishing. I would highly recommend buying this jacket.
